A true "fast". Under the direction of our JOY
advisor, Betty Tsarouhis, JOY prepared meals for hungry and
needy families. 25 kids helped bake Ziti and make Pudding Pie.
After the kids cooked they put chairs around the
working tables in the kitchen and ate pizza, pretzels and water
ice.
"I was hungry and you gave me food."
What a beautiful way to Fast. JOY will be learning and
participating in the Sacrament of Confession with Fr. Christ
during Holy Friday Services on April 25th. Parents are
encouraged to excuse their children from school on that day as
it is a religious Holy Day. Fr. Christ will have excused
absence letters for those who need them.
