St. Luke Golden Jubilee Commemorative Album:
Building a Lasting Legacy
In celebration of our parish’s 50th Anniversary, a commemorative album
is being compiled. One section of the album will be entitled: I
Remember... a collection of essays and photographs submitted by
parishioners. Parishioners
are invited to submit essays for inclusion in the album recalling their
memorable experiences at St. Luke.
Suggestions for the essays include your story about: worship
services, Greek Affairs, youth activities, anecdotes and family
histories, to name a few. Personal photographs may be submitted with
your essay. Photographs
should be identified by placing on the back of the photo a
post-it note with the
parishioner’s name, address and telephone number.
Do not write anything on the back of the photo as it will show
through when it is scanned. Essays will be arranged by column, with 4
columns per page, and may range from 225 words/column to 900 words/page.
The committee reserves the right to edit the essays.
Photographs occupy a space of approximately 150 words.
Plan accordingly.
The cost: $125/column and $500/page, payable on submission to
St. Luke (write
I Remember in the memo line).
The deadline for submission is May 1, 2012. Submit your essays to
StLukeIRemember@gmail.com or contact Alexis and Cary Limberakis at
(215)643-3347 or
CaryAlexis@aol.com.
St. Luke Golden Jubilee Commemorative Album:
Dear St. Luke parishioners, in order to provide you with the most
comprehensive album spanning St. Luke’s 50-year history, the committee
needs to borrow your photographs and newspaper articles related to
historic and special St. Luke events and functions.
These items will be treated with care and returned in the
condition in which they were provided.
Please identify them by placing a
post-it note on the back
indicating name, address and phone number.
You can give them to committee members at the Golden Jubilee
Album table during coffee hour following Divine Liturgy each Sunday
after our Greek Affair. For
further information, contact Alexis and Cary Limberakis at (215)643-3347
or
CaryAlexis@aol.com.
